Islamabad International Airport, also known as Gandhara International Airport, serves the cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Located 25 km southwest of Islamabad. It's the largest cargo airport in Pakistan with a capacity to serve 9 million passengers annually. Future plans aim to increase this to 25 million. The airport stands out in Pakistan as the only one able to accommodate the Airbus A380.
